BICTE, scheduled to take place July 5-7, 2024, is held once each quinquennium to draw together Baptist theologians, theological educators, and others around a specific theme. In 2024, the theme is: Blessed Are the Peacemakers: Becoming Agents of Peace.. This time together will include special guest speakers with teaching and discussions, impactful worship and networking, creating space for all participants to learn from one another and grow as disciples of Christ.
The Annual Gathering following directly after BICTE, July 7-12, 2024, is a wonderful opportunity to meet as a General Council, Commissions, Networks and Regions. We will worship, pray, learn, plan, share meals, encourage one another, and then rededicate ourselves, alongside our sisters and brothers from around the world, to pursuing God’s mission as a global Baptist family. We will also grow together as we engage in plenaries, Bible studies, regional ministry updates, and small group reflections developed by 14 BWA Commissions.
